As we look back on 2021, it is easy to point out the low and difficult points throughout the year. Yes, we are still in this COVID-era of life. We are all having to take precautions without return to fully normal lives in sight. However, The Villas office believes that mindset is everything. When you focus on the negative, it is so difficult to pull yourself up and maintain a positive attitude. As a result, we are choosing to focus on the positives.
This year has brought so many blessings to our office! For starters, Prudentia Property Management had quite a few wins, itself. The Villas at Prestwick finally had its grand opening in September after a few reschedules due to the ongoing pandemic and supply chain issues. The outcome was worth the wait. Both residents and those interested life at The Villas were invited—all had glowing reviews for our community and staff, which meant more to us than any other outcome that we could have received from this event.
Currently, both of our locations, The Villas at Hampton Lakes and The Villas at Prestwick, are at full occupancy! The Prudentia Property Management staff gives much of the credit to our residents for referring friends and talking highly of our communities to others. We cannot thank these phenomenal residents enough. They are truly our biggest blessing.
Our office staff has also had changes in the works throughout the year, including two promotions! Many of our residents have met Kurtis Brown, our handyman. Kurtis started with PPM by taking on odd jobs that we had within our office. He quickly proved to be efficient, professional, and one of the most genuinely nice people you could ever meet. Kurtis was then promoted to a full-time maintenance position with the company. He now cares for all of the residents' needs when it comes to home maintenance projects and ensures that each request is taken care of in an acceptable time frame.
The second staff promotion was much needed and well-deserved. Hillary Allen, previously The Villas at Prestwick leasing agent, was asked to take on the role of Prudentia Property Management’s Operations Manager. She now oversees both the east and west locations, ensures resident happiness, and will work on installing systems to help the business run more efficiently. We could not have found a more worthy person of this position.
Additionally, our office hired two new employees: Victoria Mehl is our new Front Office Administrator and Skylar Sestini was hired on at the end of November as our Maintenance Dispatch and Coordinator. In time, all of our residents will get to know these two as they will be an integral part of 2022 operations.
Outside of our office, there continues to be blessings upon blessings with our staff. Just in 2021, there have been:
· 3 new grandbabies
· 2 weddings
· an engagement
· a new puppy (soon to be)
No matter the trials that each year presents, the biggest blessing is always that the end is spent celebrating life with Christmas. Without the birth of Jesus Christ, none of these blessings would be possible. With that, we hope that you all spend this holiday celebrating life with friends and family.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
See you all in 2022!
